Introducing
ICOS is a newly-founded civil association that is the succeeding organization of the Information Center of Non-profit Organizations Regional Office (ICN, o.p.s., Praha). The aims of the ICOS association are to act as an information service for the civil sector, to develop communication among non-profit organizations, public administration bodies and entrepreneurs, and to help the development of civil democracy in the region. An important part of our work is the promotion of civil activities in the media.

ICOS’s vision of the future
Our vision stems from the notion that the city of Český Krumlov and its communities offer a number of unique experiences and accomplishments. It is for this reason that we want to cooperate with the Strategic Team, to develop cooperation with non-profit Romany organizations, and to provide educational training and informational services (for example OIS consultations, etc.). Our primary method of operation involves the maintenance of strict neutrality in relation to political parties and various non-formal groups and the promotion of the concept of a liberal approach in non-profit activities and the philosophy of open society.
