Microregion Podkletí is formed by five villages in Křemže basin in the middle of Protected natural area Blanský forest. South-west border is represented with saddle of Blanský forest in foothill of Šumava mountains with its highest peak Kleť. In north-west part of micro-region is located the picturesque southbohemian village Nová Ves.

Very first mention of Nová Ves comes from year 1379, when it belonged to the lords of Rožmberk.
Every
visitor is welcomed by number of preserved buildings and maintained common.

Westwards from Nová Ves is located settlement České Chalupy, further is Jaronín and Sedm Chalup, which is administrated by municipality Brloh. To Brloh belong also other settlements as Kovářov, Rychtářov or Jánské údolí in South.

Settlements are formed by several separated homesteads, spread in surrounding hills.

Westwards from Brloh is Kulkov, ruins of castle from the 14. and monastery from the 15. Century. Swedish army did its work during the Thirty-years war, but preserved peripheral walls of late Gothic church at Kuklov remain as a permanent inspiracy.

On the way from Brloh towards Křemže lies settlement Rojšín. Around large common are typical rustic buildings and farms.
