	On Friday 25 January 2002 the President of the Slovak Republic Rudolf Schuster and the President of the Czech Republic Václav Havel handed the military flag to the 1st Czech-Slovak battalion operating in Kosovo within the framework of a mission KFOR.

	On 12 April 2002 European Community Commissar for the candidate countries integration Günter Verheugen arrived in the town of Český Krumlov during his formal visit in the Czech Republic. On Friday morning between 8.00 – 10.00 o´clock the delegation viewed the town and the castle. The delegation were particularly interested in the Baroque Chateau Theatre.
