The author aimed his interest to history, architecture and building monuments of the native town - Český Krumlov. Since 1993 he is engaged in history of former town gates in connection with study of Anna Kubíková and Ceramic Model of Český Krumlov in District Museum of National History. He is also interested in studying of archival materials: plans, pictures, graphic sheets, historical researches and old photographs. The sources are archives of the Castle, Museum, Surveyor's Office and the archives of National Gallery in Prague. He compares acquired information with present state of the town as in real so in photo-archives. Results of his studies are presented in form of paintings and drawings.
